EPISODE SUMMARIESDECISION
In a secluded, wooded area, Light returns Misa's deathnote to Rem. Just before, Light buried his own deathnote. "I'm counting on you to rescue Misa," Rem tells the boy before flying off. Meanwhile, while "L" and the others watch, Misa's attitude changes. She acts as if her captivity is due to a stalker. Her sudden change is puzzling to the detectives, and they can't help but think she's just fooling around. While they are watching her, Light calls. When he arrives, the boy admits that he might be Kira. He tells them that maybe he is doing it subconsciously. L's thoughts reveal he is not fooled easily. He wonders if this is part of a grand plan, however, he doesn't let the other officers know of his true thoughts. He tells them to lock Light up, and the boy goes willingly. Chief Yagami is devastated. It's the first day of Light's captivity, and Chief Yagami has asked to be taken off the case and placed in prison as well. L suspected this would happen. He tells the older man to turn on his cell phone every once in a while, but don't tell Light you are in prison. Day three of prison for Light. What's confusing for L is that the killings have stopped. "Does he want to be found guilty?" L wonders. Day five in prison and still no criminals have died. This fact seems to hurt Chief Yagami the most. Day seven; "Light, it's been just a week, and you seem very worn out. Are you O.K.?" L asks. That was Light's cue...."I don't like how this is going," he begins, "I don't need it!" Fifteenth day in prison; Matsuda comes running into the room informing everyone that the killings have begun again! He excitedly tells the Chief, who can't help but feel relieved. However, L insists that Light not be told. He then contacts Light saying the killings have stopped do you want to confess to being Kira. Light is adamant about his innocence saying this must have been a set-up. L then contacts Misa....she says she doesn't know who Kira is but he punished the criminals who killed her parents...."He is justice," she says. "I don't know what's going on...." L says in a state of confusion. To be continued.... |
