Ever wonder if there exists another world similar to our own yet different in many ways? Think about it. In that other world...would we be the same person in personality and physical traits? That is the general concept behind the anime "Dual".

Dual aired in Japan from April through July of 1999 and consists of an actual 14 episodes. Episode 14 is considered an OVA.

The story centers around a 16 year-old boy (Kazuki) who sees visions of mass destruction by giant mechas. Unfortunately, no one else is able to see this...making him a source of teasing and mockery. Along comes the most popular girl at school (Mitsuki) who seems to understand what he is going through. She takes him to her scientist father who is studying parallel worlds. By accident, Kazuki is thrust into this other world where his life will never be the same.

Those of you who enjoy battles with giant robots will like this series. In addition, there is a lot of lighthearted humor involved. If your a Tenchi Muyo fan, then you will enjoy the similarities between the two anime as Kazuki seems to get more attention in the parallel world then he bargained for. Watch and enjoy!
