Mobile Suit Gundam:The 8th MS Team

On the way to his new assignment, Shiro Amada jumps into action when he hears a distress call from a mobile suit under attack. The individual in trouble happens to be Sanders, a man who will eventually be under Shiro's command. Unfortunately, Shiro's rescue leaves him stranded in space along with the enemy pilot. To Shiro's surprise, the pilot of the enemy gundam is the lovely Aina Saharin. After working together to survive, the two are individually rescued where they rejoin their own forces. However, Shiro will never forget the beautiful woman he met that day.

Shiro meets all of the 8th MS Team as their new commander but before he even gets a chance to learn all of their names, they get orders to go into action. He's nervous but wants to prove to them that he can be a good leader.

New orders have been handed down. The 8th Team must attack a Zeon occupied village in the hills. To take out the enemy's gun emplacements we split up to try a pincer attack. Unfortunately, Shiro is captured by gorilla's and the time for the attack to commence gets closer and closer. Can Shiro convince the gorilla's that he is on their side, before the rest of his team is placed in grave danger?

While on a mission in the Western area Shiro is surprised when Sanders suddenly demands a transfer out of the 8th team, but before they can discuss it, something terrible looms over their heads. Is this the enemies newest and deadliest secret weapon? They're about to find out.

The existence of the enemy's new weapon sends a shock thru our forces. The 8th team is sent out everyday to search and gather intelligence. While doing so, Shiro gets word that both Eledore and Michel have been captured by the Zeon. Will they find a means to escape? (I will always remember this episode as one of the most hilarious anime episodes I've ever seen.)

The 8th team arrives in the perfect spot to ambush the new Zeon monster. They hold their position day after day watching their trap, but all they can do is wait. Unfortunately, the harsh environment and the endless waiting is putting them all on edge. Snap out of it guys, we need teamwork for this plan to succeed.

(Shiro speaking from now on.) I can't believe Aina is the pilot of the Zeon's secret weapon. In the heat of battle, I nearly killed her. But as soon as we each figure out who the other is we find ourselves in a race towards a huge mountain range. We have to find some way to survive. Aina live or die were going to do this together!

My encounter with Aina in the blizzard seems like a dream. but after I make it home I find a military tribunal waiting to question me They think he's a Zeon spy they put him under house arrest just as Kiki's village is attacked by Zeon forces. The Federal forces won't help them so it's up to me. They may be gorilla's, but they're also my friends.

Eledore has recovered and rejoined the 8th Team just as we receive orders to attack an enemy base in an airdrop operation. Karen is nervous about making her first drop, and Sanders says there's something strange going on. As for me, I still feel torn but naive thinking like that is just going to get my team killed.

The Federal forces have found the Zeon base and now a full scale battle is on. Suddenly, a blue mobile suit appears and he can take out three Gundams single-handedly and that can mean only one thing....He's an ace pilot! One by one, he takes out the Federation soldiers until... Is it my turn to die too?

Karen, Sanders, Eledore, Michel, don't die my friends. We'll meet again.

The war is over, however, the battle to believe that the Team's commander was still alive, despite his unknown fate, remained. And that's when Kiki and Michel arrived at the village where time had stopped. And there, the children of the Flanagan Agency innocently played.

There was an additional Episode entitled "Miller's Report" that contains mostly recaps and the interrogation process to prove that Shiro was not a Zeon spy!
