Following the death of Orga, Mikazuki rallies the rest of Tekkadan, telling them to carry out Orga's orders to live until the end. To reach Chryse by tunnel, it will take at lease 2 hours. Mikazuki, Hush, Akihiro, and Dante will lead the team to intercept the enemy. The job is to hold them off until the guys in the tunnel make it through.

While Gjallarhorn forces begin their assault on the Mars base, McGillis asks his men to disembark and commences his own battle against Rustal Elion and the Arianrhod fleet. He sends his ship into a suicide attack while simultaneously launching Gundam Bael. He destroys mobile suits and ships alone, until Gaelio steps in. He pushes his Alaya-Vijnana Type Ein to its limit to match the Bael.

Sadly, back on Mars, Hush is mortally wounded and dies during the battle. He was never able to catch up to Mikazuki. While in space, the heavily-damaged Gundam Kilmaris Vidar manages to cripple the Gundam Bael and seriously wound McGillis as the two crash into Rustal's ship.

McGillis abandons the Bael to infiltrate the ship and attempt to get to the bridge. He is cut off by Gaelio. The two quickly shoot each other, but Gaelio's mask protects him while McGillis is fatally shot. Gaelio pins the dying McGillis to a wall and demanding acknowledgment as the victor. McGillis confesses that the reason he betrayed them was because their friendship caused his convictions to reform Gjallarhorn to waver. Gaelio breaks down when McGillis succumbs to his wounds, bidding his deceased friend farewell.

Rustal notes McGillis' story will be remembered as a tragic consequence for those thirsting for power (look who's talking...bastard!) and has Julieta sent to Mars to finish Tekkadan off. Sadly, it won't be difficult as Tekkadan is struggling to repel the Gjallarhorn forces.

NOTE: Goodbye, Hush! Goodbye, McGillis. Though your intentions may have been good, you just can't destroy anyone who gets in your way.
