Episode 45: Pulse

Team Core Tech are heading to a S.T.O.R.M. base to get Jeredy's original monsuno cores. He only has a few frequencies missing from the big board and the cores might be all he needs to stop the monsuno essence from reaching the Earth's center. Those cores were experimental and very unstable. Luckily S.T.O.R.M. thinks the cores are useless. Jeredy thought the base would be lightly guarded, but he was wrong.
Jeredy wants to cancel the mission, but Bren tells everyone that when they highjacked that STORM vehicle in the episode, "Train", he hacked into their systems and obtained S.T.O.R.M. access codes. He also knew of a secret entrance into the base.
Meanwhile, inside the base, a representative of the World Council is questioning Charlemagne. She has exceeded her budget by 389%. At the same time, Commander Trey notices someone is using unauthorized entrance codes.
Chase and the others have entered the base and found the cores, but, also, notice a silent alarm has been triggered. Jeredy asks Chase to grab 3 of the unstable cores and destroy the room as it contained his old research. After destroying everything, they head to the exit where Strike Squad is waiting for them. Both groups spin out and Strike Squad adds strike gear. Team Core-Tech are not doing so well and are not given any time to use their strike gear. Jeredy tells Bren he's arranging a secret weapon, but it isn't quite ready. Lock uses jaw of light to put a hole in the building so they can make a run for it, but outside they come face to face with Charlemagne, Commander Trey and the military. Driftblade, Clipper, and Bayonet launch. Strike Gear activate!
Chase and the team are severely outnumbered even though they were able to use Strike Gear once outside. Finally, Jeredy tells Bren the secret weapon is ready. Seems he had to calibrate the augmented vibrational wave to affect S.T.O.R.M.'s monsuno's and not theirs. He downloaded frequencies into the 3 rainbow cores. Chase has Dax Jinja and Beyal launch the cores while they all take cover behind lock.
After a few seconds the cores send out frequencies shutting down all electronic devices and all of S.T.O.R.M.'s monsuno's! Chase and the others fly out on EVO and BioBlaze to safety, but what a mess they left!
Not long afterwards, the representative reports to the World Council that Charlemagne has become more than a liability! "She is dangerous!" he tells them.
Elsewhere, Team Core-Tech take a much needed break and enjoy some pizza. Bren learns the hard way that bonding with Neo Quickforce should not involve pizza!
