Aboard Dr. Suno's submarine. Chase and his father are researching the pentoculous that will lead to the Well of Site where his mother is being held captive. One of the three pieces is in S.T.O.R.M.'s possession. To find three pieces of the pentoculous, they need to break into S.T.O.R.M.'s main fortress. However, it has thousands of soldiers and advanced experimental weaponry. Dr. Suno says he's going with them until Ace shows him the most recent readings. Seems the Monsuno essence is burrowing towards the Earth's core at an accelerated rate. It began after Droog triggered some of the failsafe devices. According to the data, it will destroy Earth in only two months.

While Jeredy remains behind, the rest of Team Core-tech set off to get the pieces of the pentoculous. Soon, Chase and the others approach the main fortress only to be met with heavy fire power.

Meanwhile on Charlemagne's cloud carrier, the World Council are checking into allegations of illegal conduct. The commandant is furious and orders Commander Trey to throw them in the brig. Shortly after she is told of what's happening at the main fortress. She smirks thinking it is her time for revenge.

Back at S.T.O.R.M.'s fortress, one of their cannons is especially destructive and almost takes out Dax. Chase sends Lock, and his Inferno Spike takes out the cannon. For a minute Team Core-Tech looks like they can enter the fortress easily, but Strike Squad shows up. Chase sends Bren and Beyal to find the pieces of the pentoculous while he, Dax and Jinja take on the five members of Strike Squad.

Beyal & Bren make their way inside through a vent, but they land surrounded by S.T.O.R.M. military. Luckily for them they have their Monsuno. Bren spins out Longfang, and the soldiers run for their lives. One frightened soldier tells them where the pentoculous may be.

Outside, Chase and the others activate Strike Gear to get an advantage. It works for a while until Strike Squad activate their own Strike Gear.

Returning to the inside of the base, Bren and Beyal have broken into a room full of ancient artifacts. Beyal is like a kid in a candy shop. Bren uses Longfang to track the pentoculous. Unfortunately, once they find it, they learn that S.T.O.R.M. only had one piece. Bren gathers it up and tells Beyal it's time to go. Beyal joins him with a cart full of artifacts.

Outside, Strike Squad has definitely gotten the upper hand, and probably would have dominated, but who shows up but Commandant Marshall Charlemagne. Of course, she orders Strike Squad to leave so she can take Team Core Tech on her own (geez...you'd think she'd learn by now). She launches Driftblade and immediately activates Strike Gear. Commander Trey arrives and spins out Clipper and Bayonet. Bren and Beyal show up on deck and use their clones to confuse them.

As ominous as they look, Driftblade and Commander Trey's Monsuno are no match for Lock's reflection volt! That huge display of power causes massive damage to the base and sadly, Beyal's cart of artifacts. Team Core Tech leave the base behind getting only part of what they were looking for.

After they leave, the members of the World Council show up, and Commander Trey places Charlemagne under arrest.

A short time later, Team Core-Tech are on the beach winding down from their mission. Chase asks Bren why he was only able to get one piece of the pentoculous. Bren explained that the other two were checked out. Beyal, in the meantime, is hanging his head in despair. Jinja asks if he is ok. Beyal sighs heavily, "There was a whole warehouse of artifacts. They could have told me so much about the ancient ways of the old monks, but all I retrieved was this...the ancient toothbrush."
"Wait! You mean you took all that time and you didn't grab the toothpaste?!" Bren.

Everyone laughs to end the episode.

Below are a few quotes from the episode:

"Oh, no Beyal. They have about a thousand weapons." Bren after they enter the fortress.
"Yes, my friend, but how many Monsuno's do they have?" Beyal

"Look at the great multitude of Monsuno artifacts! Hhhhh, oh my, an ancient prayer book, Oh my, an ancient meditation bell, hhhh Oh my, an ancient toothbrush. Oh this is very rare. It has brushed the sagacious teeth of my forebearers!" Beyal excited.
Would you focus! Bren.

"Who's a good boy? You are...yes, you are...wooshie wooshie whoosie whoosie...Oh yessie yessie yessie yes... Alright! Now crack it open!" Bren thanking Longfang for leading him to the room that holds the pentoculous piece.

"Ah...maybe this is the point where the cocky, "Common guys, we can take em attitude" is getting a little old?" Chase when battling Strike Squad.
"Ya think." Jinja

"Commander, help me up." Charlemagne.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but I don't take orders from you anymore." Commander Trey.
"What are you talking about? What are those fools doing out of the brig?" Charlemagne.
"Commander Trey had the good sense never to put us in the brig. Unlike you he is a true soldier." World Council Members.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, but I swore an oath to protect and serve the World Council and the freedom for which it stands against all enemies foreign and domestic. I have to honor that oath even if it means going against your wishes." Commander Trey.
