Kidou Eita knew exactly what he wanted, and a relationship wasn't part of the plan.  In fact, with his parent's divorce and Eita's subsequent abandonment, he was totally anti-love.  Can you blame him?   Eita wanted to be accepted into an excellent college, therefore, studying and receiving good grades was a top priority.

Everything changed when the beautiful transfer student, Masuzu Natsukawa arrived.  Masuzu is rich, gorgeous, conceited, conniving, and just plain tired of all the attention.  So when Eita never showed any interest, she latched onto him as her make believe boyfriend.  Now why would Eita agree to this????  Normally, he wouldn't, but Masuzu found Eita's notebook full of his private fantasy's, dreams and aspirations, and she is using this to blackmail him.  Enter Eita's childhood friend and neighbor, Chiwa Harusaki.  She is sweet, naive, and has underlying feelings for Eita.  This makes for some interesting friction between the two girls.  When more girls vying to Eita's attention enter the picture, the complications increase even more!

I'm not normally a fan of harem-type anime series, but this one I like.  Although Eita is locked into this situation due to blackmail, he exhibits a strength that many harem anime main protagonists do not possess.  Not only that, but this anime is not full of your usual fan service, which makes it appropriate for just about any age.  If this sounds like something you'd like, then check it out.  You can catch the streaming version of this series on Cruncyroll.
