Battle Spirits Shounen Toppa Bashin
This new anime is the latest from Toei and Bandai. It began it's broadcast in Japan in September of 2008, and just as the title indicates there are battles between spirits. There are, of course, trading cards involved. Hmmm....let's see.....a young, rambunctious boy and his precious collection of cards that summon spirits in order to do battle. Where have I heard that before or should I say; "Where haven't I heard that before?"
Judging by the popularity of Bakugan Battle Brawlers, this type of franchise will continue to be a favorite. Whether this particular series can gain the same fandom is yet to be determined. However, if it follows in the footsteps of Bakugan or Pokemon or YuGiOh or even Digimon, then the toy manufacturers are going to be very happy!!
