Chu-Bra!!
Just when you thought you’d seen just about every unique (weird) anime series imaginable….along comes Chu-Bra!! Can you say “fan service” or better yet, “maximum fan service.” Seriously though, if the thought of women groping women (and don’t forget those numerous panty shots) absolutely nauseates you, then this is a series to avoid. It is (like so many other series) a manga series written and illustrated by Japanese manga author, Yumi Nakata.
The series follows the antics of Nayu Hayama, who happens to be an underwear monitor and specialist. She tests new underwear products (so if you’re wondering if your bra fits properly….go see Nayu). Yako and Haruka are unaware of Nayu’s occupation and only know that there are rumors flying around that Nayu has a sugar daddy. After investigating, they learn the truth. They, also, learn some valuable information about the undergarments they wear. Nayu believes her knowledge can help others and wants to start an underwear club.
I don’t know how the Japanese schools would react, but in the US, a person wanting to start a club such as this would probably get suspended from school or worse. It just wouldn’t fly, and quite honestly, I don’t this anime will either.
