Dragon Crisis
Dragon Crisis the anime is an adaptation based off the Japanese light novels written by Kaya Kizaki and illustrated by Itsuki Akata. The series consist of 12 episodes and began airing in January of 2011.
Premise: Wow….what a wild ride poor Ryuji goes on when he is pulled from Summer School by the cousin that he hasn't seen in 3 years. After studying in America, Eriko has returned to find herself a Lost Precious. Needing Ryuji's help, she takes him with her. They grab a large briefcase from a sinister group led by Fang. Luckily, they are able to escape when the case opens up and reveals a prize red dragon that has taken the shape of a beautiful young girl, and she uses her dragon's flame to help them.
Once home, Ryuji names the girl Rose after the shape of the dragon scales on her hand. Rose is very attached to Ryuji. It turns out that the two have met before. As the series progresses, we learn that Ryuji isn't exactly a ordinary human. He is a level 10 breaker, which is considered the highest level of breakers who go to find/use lost precious.
Although reluctant at first, Ryuji eventually resolves to protect Rose from Fang and anyone else who may cause her harm.
