Tanken Driland was created by studio Toei Animation, and it's based on the popular Driland fantasy game by the mobile gaming company Gree's. The game has its players explore dungeons in search of treasure.
Premise from anime: Driland…people known as "Hunters" reside here. They explore ruins alongside their companions despite the danger that lurks inside. No matter what, they will never give up. They combine their strength, and break through to discover treasures never seen before!
Princess Mikoto of Elua wants to become a Hunter and travel the World. She teams up with Wallens and two other companions to fulfill her dream.
Driland's characters are designed in chibi-form (childlike), which normally indicates the anime is geared toward children. So if you're not interested in something that could end up on the Saturday morning kids line-up, then you'd better stay clear of this anime. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the show.
