Gaist Crusher

Alternate Name: Gaisutokurassha

Gaist Crusher is a fun children's anime that has many similarities to Chousoku Henkei Gyrozetter. I would say the demographics for this series is young boys ages 4-14. Earlier this year, famous game maker CAPCON announced a cross-media production of Gaist Crusher as part of its Kids Project. CAPCOM has not only developed the anime, but also, a Nintendo 3DS action game, a manga, and other forms of media. Bandai has jumped on the bandwagon as well signing up to make toys.

CAPCON describes the series as follows: Gaimetal, a metal ore with high amounts of pure energy, was discovered 50,000 meters (160,000 feet) underground in 2047, and mining began all around the world. However, Gaist, metallic lifeforms whose bodies are entirely encrusted with Gaimetal, emerged in 2055 and began attacking people. In 2064, Rekka, Hayato, Kurama, and Siren are among those who suit up in Gaist Gear and battle over 100 varieties of Gaist creatures.

Basically, what we have are four young, energetic and heroic boys, who are able to transform themselves into gaist fighting machines. They take on the many gaist creatures (based on elements) and protect the World. The boys are specifically chosen by the GCG Organization when they show explosive determination and are able to harness the power of the gaiphone, a device about the size of a celphone.
