Guin Saga
Based on the best selling fantasy novels by the recently deceased, Kaoru Kurimoto, Guin Saga is the longest continuing author's work in the world. Kaoru was working on her 130th volume of Guin Saga up until her death from pancreatic cancer in May of 2009.
The storyline primarily centers around a warrior of great strength with the head of a leopard. He remembers nothing of his past except that his name is Guin. He rescues two teenage twins (Rinda and Remus), who fled from their kingdom through teleportation when they were attacked by the army of Mongaul. Rinda and Remus were Princess and Prince of Parros and each possess some special abilities….although Rinda much more than Remus with her foretelling skills. The three travel together encountering a myriad of danger and deceit. With every encounter Guin is able to learn more about himself and his strengths.
Guin Saga is an anime that will please those who enjoy a good medieval, fantasy, magical series. It's animation quality is visually appealing with impressive scenic scenes and gorgeous character designs. Fans of fantasy….make sure you catch this wonderful series.
