Alternate Name: Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

When the Arabian Nights and anime meet, you have Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. The series is based off of the Japanese manga that was written and illustrated by Shinobu Ohtaka. It started serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in June 2009. The premiere of the Magi anime was October of 2012.  One can catch Magi on Crunchyroll.com.

**In a strange faraway land lies the mysterious labyrinth called The Dungeon. A young boy, Aladdin, and his companion Alibaba, attempt to penetrate the secrets of The Dungeon and obtain the treasures rumored to be hidden there. Within The Dungeon, Aladdin meets many different people, and eventually discovers his destiny.

My thoughts:  This series is everything I love; action, adventure, magic, and likeable charaters with beautiful character designs (although the teeth took some getting use to). However, Magi has a more adult theme so I wouldn't recommend it for those under 12. Anyone else is gonna luv it!
