Young Takuro Mukojima spent most of his time alone and fishing.  His life was quiet and uneventful until he accidentally caught more than he bargained for.  On one sunny afternoon, Takuro snagged a real life mermaid.  She calls herself Muromi, and wow...has she got a boisterous personality. Since that day, Takuro's quiet fishing life has been turned upside down!

Muromi-san is approximately 15 minutes per episode.  The series consists of silly dialogue and various interactions involving sea creatures.  Each episode may involve some way of mocking events in everyday life but at an aquatic level. Then there's the fan service...boobies...boobies...boobies.  If you can get around that and enjoy the humor for what it is, then this series is worth the 15 minutes of entertainment each week.
