Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream

Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream was originally an arcade game that was adapted into a manga and then an anime series in 2011. The anime is brimming with bling, pretty clothes, pretty girls, pretty boys, and talking cute & cuddly animal mascots… It's everything that most pre-teen girls look for in an anime series. This show is definitely shojo. So boys... you'll probably want to go elsewhere.

Pretty Rhythm is about a famous ice skating and entertainment event called the Prism Show. Girls everywhere dream of becoming the next Prism Queen, but they must have the skills, which include not only figure skating, but singing and dancing as well. One of those girls is Aira, who is discovered when the handsome Prism Scout, Jun, notices her potential.

At first Aira is awkward and clumsy, but by some miracle, she is able to complete her Prism Jump….appropriately named Fresh Fruits Basket. From then on, Aira continues to improve and becomes a great asset to the Prism Show. She meets many friends along the way, but can they remain friends when the competition builds? We shall see..??
