Straight Title Robot Anime is a different type of series that airs for approximately 13 minutes per episode. The following is a blurb taken from Crunchyroll's Forum:
Straight Title Robot Anime, known in Japan as "Chokkyu Hyodai Robot Anime", is the first anime series to actually be produced with the freeware animation program MikuMikuDance, which lets users animate and create 3D animation, originally used for creating music videos for the Vocaloid character Miku Hatsune.
The story is centered on three robots in the year Mobile Century 8013, a time when humanity has already been wiped out but remaining military robots continue to fight. Three robots, Fuji, Kato, and Mori, stand up to try and put an end to this war that has been going on for over seven millennia.
I've tried to watch a few episodes, but it's just too boring for me. Most of the 13 minutes are made up of the three robots talking and trying to understand human concepts. About one minute of an episode shows the battles taking place on Earth by the residual military robots. If you look close enough, it appears that the same animation was used for every episode....Only the dialog has changed with some very minor prop changes. Others may find this amusing, but I dropped it after the 2nd episode.
