YuGiOh 5Ds
Did you think YuGiOh would end after GX? Think again....there's still plenty of cards to sell and to help do that...along comes the next series in the YuGiOh franchise entitled; YuGiOh 5Ds. This new anime even continues to flaunt that unusual spiky hair. Sorry folks....not to burst your bubble....but don't expect to see Yugi or Jaden; there's a whole new cast of characters...the main one being Yusei Fudo. He's a cool dude that will have you forgetting the others in no time.
Betrayed by his best friend 2 years ago, Yusei sets out to retrieve the items stolen from him. It won't be easy....his once friend is Jack Atlas, a well-known man called the King of the Riding Duel.
This particular series takes place many years after GX. Neo Domino City is now a futuristic city and duels are mainly fought in an elaborate stadium. A twist to the dueling is when vehicles are involved, specifically motorcycles with duel equipment a.k.a. D-Wheels. When dueling in this manner the only magic cards the duelist can use are called "Speed Spells." There's much more to the story including the legendary dragons, but you'll just have to watch to find out more. You can catch the action this Fall when it airs on CW4Kids.
