HIGHLIGHTS:
Continuing from last episode, Hyottoko, a giant of a man from the Oniwaban group, enters the Kamiya grounds. He engages both Sano and Kenshin in fighting. Hyottoko uses flames and fists to back both Sano and Kenshin off.
Sano, however, manages to beat Hyottoko to a pulp after removing the bag of oil the large man keeps in his gut. (See character summaries.)
Beshimi has been watching from the trees above. He aims a poison dart at Megumi. Yahiko, being the hero that he is, jumps in front of Megumi taking the dart instead. In a matter of seconds, Yahiko collapses from the poison.
A new enemy has arrived! Han'nyu! He gathers up his fallen comrads and disappears. Kenshin is unable to stop him.
Kaoru rushes to Yahiko's aid and is about to suck out the poison when Megumi stops her. Megumi examines Yahiko and gives everyone orders (eg: boil water, get ice, get any medical supplies etc). To make a long story shorter, she saves him.
As Yahiko is recovering, in another part of town, Kanryu is receiving an important delivery from the U.S.
