HIGHLIGHTS:
After exciting his men, Shishio, Hoji and Yumi leave. It is then that Shishio tells Hoji his real reason for gathering the Ten Swords, and that is to target government officials and especially the Battosai. Hoji is against that, as he feels the Ten Swords are getting used as sacrificial pawns. Cho arrives and overhears Hoji mention a sword Seiku has hidden away. He leaves quickly.
Cho arrives at Seiku's place and threatens the man. He takes his child until Seiku tells him where the hidden sword is. Frantic for her child, Azusa, tells him where it is. Sadly, he still kidnaps the child.
Elsewhere, Misao takes it upon herself to go to Seiku, and try to convince him to reconsider. However, she witnesses Cho's threats and kidnapping of Seiku's child. She sends a message (via carrier pidgeon) to Okino and Kenshin.
Kenshin is furious and races to confront Cho at the Hakusan Shrine where Azusa said it was. Kenshin said Cho can take the sword, but hand over the child. He wanted to avoid unnecessary battles, but the ruthless, Cho declines as he wants to fight.
Using his skills, Kenshin destroys Cho's katanas and rams his scabbard into the evil man's stomach.
Unfortunately, Cho is able to stand. He removes his shirt to reveal another katana, basically armor wrapped around his stomach.
