Episode 33: Drawing of the Forbidden

HIGHLIGHTS:

Picking up from last episode, Kenshin is continuing his fight with Cho of the Ten Swords. The evil man has revealed a katana wrapped around his stomach. Cho claims that it is his most cherished sword called the Hakujin Blade!

As the battle continues, Cho is able to draw blood. Kenshin's leg has been pierced slowing him down. Mr. Seiku fears for his son's life and wants the bloodbath to end. After listening to Kenshin's words about a new Era, he runs into the Shrine. He wants to bet on Kenshin for a new peaceful era!

Meanwhile, Cho has become angry at Kenshin calling him a broom head. His attack gets too close, allowing Kenshin to give him a fierce elbow to the head, but Cho is not down for the count yet. Thankfully, Mr. Seiku throws Kenshin his father's last sword...but.. Kenshin hesitates as he has sworn not to kill.

Cho taunts Kenshin by saying he will kill the child. With super human speed, Kenshin attacks: Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu, Ryuukansen - Tsumuji! Did he kill? No...The final sword made by Shakku Arai was the same sakabato as the one he gave Kenshin in the past except this one fits his hand better!

Cho warns Kenshin there are more of the Ten Swords to come. Misao gives Cho a blow to knock him out and stop his threats. They decide it is best to turn Cho over to the police.

In the end, Kenshin is left with the holy sword, sakabato Shinuchi.

Kenshin has a flashback of his last encounter with Shakku Arai.
