Wildfire in the Sky

Now that the Ronins know that Rowen is floating in outer space, they try to come up with a way to get to him. After some arguing among themselves, Mia stops them and decides they should get some rest. Kento tries to protest, but Mia insists that fighting will get them nowhere.

Talpa and the Dark Warlords, meanwhile, are making their own plans to destroy Rowen. Even though Dais failed in his quest, he insists that the battle was not a total loss since he discovered Rowen's whereabouts. Anubis says that they have no way of reaching Rowen in space. "Doubt will be your downfall, Anubis," Talpa simply replies. "There is always a way to defeat your enemy. You will see."

While everyone sleeps, Ryo gets White Blaze up and tries to sneak off. Kento catches him and insists on coming with him. Yulie wakes up, and Ryo quiets him...saying to tell Mia to wait for them in the city while he and Kento go spy on Talpa. The warriors and tiger run off.

Talpa calls upon his Nether Spirits to form a "cannon" of sorts from an abandoned building. Their power produces a huge ball of energy, which catapults into space to destroy Rowen. The Ancient One sees the energy ball shooting through the sky. He throws his staff at the ball, destroying it. Talpa curses the old monk's interference and begins channeling another orb. He also orders Anubis to take down Ryo and Kento, who are running toward the cannon at that moment.

Ryo, Kento, and White Blaze arrive and are challenged by Anubis. They suit up and fight their way to the top. Anubis gets blasted by the negative energy and is beefed up even more. The surge of power causes Ryo and Kento's armors to tighten up on them. The energy ball prepares to launch once more. In a last ditch attempt to save Rowen, Ryo throws himself into the ball. Instead of destroying it, he is sucked into the orb just before it blasts off. Kento and White Blaze make it safely back to the others, and they all watch as the orb heads into space.

In the Sea of the Sky

Mia, Yulie, and company continue to watch the sky as the orb carrying Ryo zips through space. Talpa sends his soldiers to confront them, taunting that their two friends are doomed. Anubis soon confronts Talpa alone and expresses his desire to fight Ryo in open combat. He insists that the Ronin Warriors must be defeated in a fair fight, or their victory will mean nothing. Talpa rebukes him, saying that the Dynasty has never asked for a fair fight. All that matters to him is that the Ronins are defeated. Anubis is sent away.

Ryo struggles against the power of the Nether Spirits inside the energy ball. Desperate to save Rowen from certain death, Ryo unleashes his full power and destroys the orb. Miraculously, Ryo survives; his armor produces an energy shield around him. Ryo doesn't see Rowen right away and fears he is too late. Exhausted and unable to move, Ryo passes out.

Rowen is still alive, however, and brings Ryo into his own orb with one of his arrows. Ryo wakes and is relieved to see his friend alive. Rowen doesn't answer him and uses his powers to send them Earth-bound. Meanwhile, Sage, Cye, and Kento have destroyed the Dynasty Soldiers around them. They sense their friends' presence and watch as a blue light flies through the air. Their armors glow brightly. Mia says that means Ryo and Rowen are alive.

Anubis is doubled over in pain as a strange power begins to surge through him. His kanji "loyalty" begins to pulse slightly. Anubis senses that Ryo is still alive. Determined to fight, the Warlord armors up and disappears.

Rowen and Ryo make a crash landing in the woods. Rowen looks around, confused by his surroundings. Ryo lies nearby, still injured from his battle. At that moment, Anubis appears and attacks the two warriors. Ryo is unable to move, and Rowen tries to defend him. Anubis makes short work of the Ronins and entangles them in a web of chains. Ryo passes out in the process.

Anubis prepares to finish the boy off, but he hesitates. Anubis wishes for a glorious battle, not some struggle against a helpless boy. The Dark Warlord struggles internally, wondering why he's so hesitant. Rowen sees his chance to save Ryo and draws his bow. He calls out to Anubis and fires his ultimate attack: Arrow Shock Wave.

Anubis catches the arrow in mid-flight, but not before it splits his helmet in half. The helmet falls away and reveals that Anubis is actually human; not some soulless suit of armor. Rowen is amazed. "You....your a man! A human being like us!" Anubis charges to continue the battle, but Talpa stops him and spirits the Warlord away. The others soon join them. Happy to be reunited, they prepare to take the fight to Talpa.

Assault on the Dynasty

Talpa, angry that all five Ronin Warriors have revived, orders the castle gates to be closed. A thick fog penetrates the entire city, making it harder for the Ronins to locate the entrance. As the group makes their way through the streets of Tokyo, they come across a wall of thick black fog. Kento, unfazed by this barrier, hops in a van and rides it into the fog. Suddenly, strange tentacle like apparitions attack and destroy the van, propelling it and Kento back out to where the others are. Fighting them off, the group manages to escape.

Inside the castle, Talpa summons Dais and offers him a chance to destroy the Ronin Warriors and earn his favor. Dais states that he has a plan to stop the boys, but he must be allowed to open the castle gates for it to work. Talpa objects to this, but the warlord simply states that when the boys are inside, it will be easy for him to defeat them with the help of the Nether Spirits. Talpa finally agrees.

Back outside, the boys are trying to figure out how to get inside when the mysterious fog suddenly lifts, revealing four enormous gates. Talpa's castle floats clearly within. Kento easily pushes one of the gates open. Ryo, knowing how dangerous it is ahead, tells Yulie and Mia that they have to wait outside. When Yulie protests, Ryo slaps him, and the boy runs off crying. Mia and White Blaze run after him. The five warriors walk determinedly into the city, closing the gate behind them.

No sooner do they enter, Dais appears and confronts them. The four gates all burst open with a blast of wind as the endless amount of Nether Spirits poor inside. The boys are knocked off their feet. Quickly recovering, they try to summon their armor, but nothing happens. Ryo realizes at that moment that the spirits are somehow blocking their powers. With the Ronins unable to transform, Dais soon makes short work of them. (Dais quote: “I'm impressed! You came all this way just to die!”)

Mia and White Blaze soon catch up to Yulie, who has run back to the jeep. Mia tries to explain Ryo's actions, but Yulie says he knows that Ryo was just trying to protect him. Suddenly, White Blaze roars loudly. They look back and are horrified to see a huge web draped across the sky. Realizing that their friends are in trouble, Mia and Yulie run back and try to walk inside, but the power of the Nether Spirits prevents them from doing so. At that moment, the Ancient One's staff appears and floats down into Mia's hands, providing them with the help they need.

Meanwhile above the city, the five Ronin Warriors hang bound to Dais' web, writhing and groaning in agony. “The harder you struggle, the more my web bites into your flesh!” Dais taunts them with a laugh. He lowers himself down in front of Ryo and offers the boy a chance to serve the Dynasty in exchange for his life. Ryo utterly refuses and vows to destroy both Dais and his master. Dais cuts him loose and proceeds to beat the poor boy senseless. Just as the warlord prepares to finish him off, Mia and Yulie show up. The Ancient's staff suddenly glows brightly, it's power driving away the Nether Spirits. Ryo finally transforms and uses his ultimate attack on Dais, it's power even reaching up to Talpa's castle. Afterwards, Ryo apologizes to Yulie, and the group prepares to confront Talpa once and for all.
