Returning to the Underworld, Asuna descends in front of Ronie and Tiese. She explains that she is not a God, but wishes to see Kirito. The girls take her to the carriage where Kirito sits quietly in his wheelchair. When Asuna says his name, he twitches. Both Kirito and Asuna shed tears. It is obvious he recognizes her, but is unable to express himself. She tells him everything will be OK.

When she walks out of the carriage, Asuna is met with Alice's sword. It takes Bercouli Synthesis One to break the two girls up. He explains to Alice that Asuna is NOT the enemy. He calls a conference with the Knights and Guards, where Asuna explains what is happening and that the Dark God Vecta is after the Priestess of Light, Alice. She explains that her objective is to protect the Underworld.

That evening, Kirito's harem gather to discuss their experiences with him. Asuna explains how he was once dual wielding Kirito. The girls talk into the night.
