Sinon, as Solus the Sun Goddess, reunites with Asuna. She asks to see Kirito. Afterwards, tearfully and optimistically she says, "Don't worry, Kirito will be better in no time!" Asuna asks Sinon to go after Vecta while she remains with the decoy force to continue South and prepare a counterattack against the remaining Americans.

Elsewhere, Leafa descends to the underworld, as Terraria the Earth Goddess, and meets Lilpilin, the Orc Chieftain. Leafa learns that Lilpilin wants to take her to Dark Lord Vecta as a prisoner, which she agrees to as it aligns with her goals. Sadly, Dee Eye Ell appears. Knocking Lilpilin away, she begins to consume Leafa's energy. Lilpilin, empowered by Leafa's recognition of his worth as a living being, overcomes his Code 871 restriction and saves Leafa. Once free, Leafa easily destroys Dee Eye Ell.

Far South, Bercouli pursues Vecta on dragonback, and is forced to use his secret skill, Uragiri, to ground Vecta's dragon. Bercouli engages Vecta in battle but is overwhelmed by Vecta's super account stats & stun powers. Realizing he cannot win, Bercouli resolves to die fighting for Alice's sake, whom he loves as a parent.

At the ruins, Vassago has returned in a new avatar, stalking Asuna from afar as she fights in a fierce battle with the American players. Just as the situation seems dire, a bright light appears in the sky. The new arrival is Klein, in his ALO avatar. More allies begin arriving and just in time!
