Yui notices connections from the the old SAO Server. Turns out, it is Eiji and Yuna arriving just in time to save Kirito from Vassago's wrath.
Vassago's, a.k.a. PoH (Prince of Hell), past is revealed giving us a glimpse of why he hates Japanese so intensely. His mother was the mistress of his Japanese father. Except for finances, the father had abandoned them until his legitimate son needed a kidney. He threatened to stop those finances if PoH didn't donate one of his kidneys. Years later, Vassago steals a black market Nerve Gear and logs into SAO. His plan was to kill all the Japanese players he wanted.
Eiji fights Vassago to avenge his friends from SAO but is defeated. Two players recognize Vassago as a member of Laughing Coffin. They attempt to dissuade the others, but Vassago uses his powers to make them fight each other.
Elsewhere, Sinon is struck down by Subtlizer but manages to turn the battle around before he retreats. Leafa is struggling to fight a massive amount of red players, while taking damage and healing herself.
On the Ocean Turtle, Yanai is about to kill Higa, but Rinko threw a wrench on that plan (literally...ha, ha...see image 14). Yanai is startled causing him to lose his balance and fall from the platform (hopefully, to his death). Higa, although injured, proceeds with his task of awakening Kirito with the Fluctlights of those who love him.
