Meanwhile in a birdcage far on top of the World Tree, Asuna gets a visit from Oberon, whom she knows is Sugou Nobuyuki. He admits that he used the ALO server to take some of the SAO players hostage (basically kidnapped 300 players) through brain imprisonment for use as subjects in illegal human mind control experimentation. YIKES!
