HIGHLIGHTS:
A new exhibition is opening at the Maritime Museum. They have reason to believe that one item may contain Mew Aqua. Lettuce (she has a crush on Ryo) volunteers to go with Ryo to check it out since it is close to the ocean and her Mew Aqua sense is strong.
When Ryo and Lettuce arrive at the Museum, the notice some unusual earrings. Just as Lettuce is checking to see if they contain Mew Aqua, Kish shows up. The confrontation results in Lettuce falling into the Ocean.
Lettuce wakes up on the shore in ancient times. She meets Madeline, an alien. Many of them are evacuating into space as they believe their land might soon sink deep into the Ocean. The man Madeline loves (Chiffon) is leaving tonight, and he hopes Madeline will join him. Madeline, however, will not leave.
With Mew Mew Lettuce's help, Madeline is able to see Chiffon and express her feelings before he leaves.
A vision of Madeline appears before Mew Mew Lettuce in the ocean. Lettuce learns what truly happened back then. Madeline was never able to tell Chiffon how she felt before she died, and her earrings fell to the bottom of the ocean with her regrets.
Lettuce returns to present day. The earrings did not contain Mew Aqua.
Thanks to Madeline's encouragement, Lettuce tells Ryo her feelings. Sadly, Ryo says he is happy, but can only think of the Mew Mew Project at this time and apologizes. Lettuce takes the rejection with courage until Ryo is far enough away that he can't see her tears. Poor Lettuce.
