Abel Nightroad is one very unusual character. He describes himself as a traveling priest from the Vatican, but one never knows what to expect from him. One minute he's a sensible mature member of the clergy and the next.....he's acting almost childlike. One things for sure, he is a very kind man that wishes to see both humans and vampires co-exist.

An extreme aspect of his personality comes into light when a situation becomes desperate and lives are at stake. At that time, the good Father Nightroad transforms into the beast-like Kresnik, a creature that sucks the blood of vampires. It is, however, always Abel's preference to settle things peacefully making this transformation a last resort.
