Episode 24: Sesshomaru's Daughter
Highlights:
Picking up from the last episode, Kirinmaru has shown up. He reprimands Lady Zero and scatters the rainbow pearls once again. She leaves angrily...disowning him and saying that the rainbow pearls are her tears and no matter where they fall, she will be able to find them.
With Kirinmaru distracted, Riku stabs him with a sword. Riku says, "Otherwise, Madam won't have a fighting change."
Sesshomaru says to leave Lady Zero to him. When Kirinmaru asks about the girls, Sesshomaru responds, "It's a rite of courage and cowardice."
"If you are Sesshomaru's daughters, then your true worth comes from survival," Kirinmaru says just prior to engaging in battle with Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha.
When Setsuna dies in battle, Towa manifests her true strength. Moroha does the same with her 'more controlled' Beniyasha.
After a magnificient battle, Towa and Moroha have lost. Kirinmaru thanks the girls and leaves saying he hasn't had a battle like that since fighting the Great Dog Demon.
Towa appologizes and cries over her fallen sister. Sesshomaru arrives and hands a sword to Towa saying, "Will you try using this, Towa?"
NOTE: This was the finale of the first season. There is more to come! I just hope they don't make us wait too long.
