Maru takes the boys to the WBBA headquarters, and Shinobu meets his idol, Tsubasa. Shinobu, also, learns that Zyro received his blade from Gingka Hagane himself. This leaves him feeling inferior and a bit jealous. Because of this, he fights the idea of syncing with Zyro.
It takes some prodding, but Zyro finally convinces Shinobu that he can't get stronger without him...in fact, it's because of him that he won the tournament. Shinobu finally swallows his pride and works with Zyro. It pays off when they beat the Unabara brothers in a rematch!
