A man looking half-human, half-tree exits the train looking for Kite Unabara. His name is Yoshio, and he has heard that Kite holds the strongest defense-type Bey.
Elsewhere, Zyro, Shinobu, and Ren are undergoing intense training from Benkei. Not too far off, Kite is furious that he can't find data on his previous battles. Eight brings him some sandwiches, but Kite angrily tosses them away. Eight leaves feeling down and knowing he shouldn't have disturbed his brother when he is in that state of mind.
A little while later, Eight rides by the B-Pit and notices a crowd. They're telling Madoka that this guy named Yoshio is damages their blades. One of the bladers tells Eight that this Yoshio person is looking for Kite. Eight tracks down Yoshio. He knows his brother wouldn't want to be disturbed right now. Eight tells Yoshio that "HE" is Kite.
Once the two commence battling, Yoshio is not fooled. He can tell that Eight's Pirate Orochi is not a defense-type bey. Yoshio sends poor Eight flying, while Zyro and the others watch helplessly.
Kite comes racing into the Bull Burger and is relieved to see his brother only received a scratch. Angry at Yoshio, Kite challenges him. Into the battle, Kite is his usual over-confident self.....and he ends up losing. Yoshio declares his Bandit Golem the strongest defense-type bey, and Kite realizes he's got a lot more training to do!
