Elsewhere, Zyro and Shinobu come face to face with the crazed Baihu Xiao. Knowing Zyro will confront Kira soon, Shinobu decides to battle Xiao. Zyro can't understand why his friend is battling conservatively, however, Shinobu knows exactly what he's doing and brilliantly defeats Xiao while still preserving his bey.

Once their battle is over, Zyro and Shinobu finally find the room that holds Gingka captive.
