As they continue their quest to find ancient arena's, Sho can't help but feel that someone is watching them. At one point they give chase and run into Jin Ryu, who has been helping a young girl (Holly) find her grandmother. When they separate to search for the older women, Sho and Jin come face to face with Task Landau. Conveniently, its by an arena.
Elsewhere, Leon and Ricky have located Holly's grandmother and reunite the two. The boys then search for Sho and Jin.
Not long after, Leon and Ricky find themselves at an ancient arena. They enter just in time to watch the end of a battle between Task and Jin. Task uses his Berserker Behemoth to grab the last token but Jin sends Ronin Dragoon to snatch the token away and claim victory. The mythic beast Ronin Dragoon rises in the arena to the amazement of all, and Task takes this opportunity to disappear. Jin's friends congratulate him and wonder who exactly Task Landau is.
Sho and his friends gather again to say goodbye to Holly and her grandmother, who have been reunited. Jin now agrees to join the group on their adventure, but has to tell Ricky not to push too hard on the buddy business. Meanwhile Task reports back to a shadowy figure by the name of Kaiser Gray.
