Episode 08: Homesick

Ricky is bothered, because he is the only one that hasn't achieved a guiding light. He goes off on his own to search for an arena, and meets a young boy. The boy is from a village that has become deserted. The boy explained how he and his friends made a vow to bring life back to the village. However, after one year he has not had success. He can't tell his friends that he's a failure. He asks Ricky to pose as his servant. That plan fell through when Sho and the others arrived. As it turns out, the village was the location of another arena.

Once inside the arena, Sho and Ricky battle Leon and Jin. Sho decides to race ahead but the rock on the arena floor crumbles, and his beyraiderz, Samurai Ifrit, is stopped in its tracks. Ricky refuses to quit and he launches his Gladiator Bahamut again. Bahamut leaps high and powers its way through the broken ground of the arena. while Jin's beyraiderz Ronin Dragoon falls into a crack and is out of the battle. Bahumut catches the final token, and Ricky commands it to return. Ricky and Sho celebrate as the spirit of Bahamut rises in the arena and roars in victory. Bahamut then becomes a guiding light shooting high into the sky. Ricky is overjoyed as his beyraiderz has finally achieved the same level as that of his friends.
