Episode 01: Small Beginnings

The episode opens with Rin trying to control his blue flames. Shura gets a call that she is needed, and Rin accompanies her as he is under her watchful eye.

Seems that within the 5th District, the Left Eye of the Impure King has been stolen. A man in a gas mask has kidnapped a child and released miasma injuring many civilians. Yukio, Senior Exorcist Saburoto Todo, and Rin (to Yukio's dismay) enter the building where the culprit is holding up.

They track down the man and the child, but Senior Exorcist Todo has been possessed by a demon, and thwarts their attempt to retrieve the Left Eye. The child, thankfully, is rescued. However, it turns out that the whole event was simply a diversion that allowed the real Left Eye to be stollen.

After that event, the Exwires are sent to Kyoto to protect the Right Eye.
