Highlights:
Yukio, Rin and the rest of the Exwires are all together and fighting off Gedoin's zombies. At the same time, Izumo has become host to the Nine Tails! Thankfully, Izumo's mother saves her, but at the cost of her own life.
After seeing her mother risk her life, Izumo makes the decision to trust in others. She is overjoyed to learn that Mike and Ike were not destroyed by Shima. With them by her side, Izumo uses the Repose Spirit Incantation to exorcise Gedoin.
Soon after, the Exwires are joined by reinforcements. They are the familiar faces from the Impure King Saga, Kyoto's Field Office.
Later, the girls are recovering in the hospital. Takara visits Izumo, and explains what had happened to her little sister, Tsukumo. He gives her a key so she can go see her.
Izumo is happy to see that her sister is doing well with a new family, but also, heart broken when the little girl has no idea who Izumo is.
After returning to her hospital room, Izumo has a good cry, and Shiemi is happy to see that she finally has the freedom to release her tears.
The Exwires return home, with Nori happily waiting to reunite with her friends.
