Shiro, test subject A0-004 in the Azazel group, has been brought before Mephisto. The boy demands to be made an Exwire with dreams of becoming a Paladin. He feels it would ensure his freedom as a test subject.
Mephisto says he will recommend him for Exwire with one condition. Shiro must never yield to a demon, or he must grant Mephisto one wish...anything he asks. (Rin has secretly been watching their meeting.)
After Shiro leaves, Rin asks about Section 13. Mephisto gives Rin the grim tour. Rin was shocked to learn that Section 13 cloned Demon Kings and cultivated them for possession. What's more...Father Fujimoto was born there as a clone of Azazel, King of Spirits.
It's all for Lucifer, who is in very grave condition!
Disgusted by what he had seen, Rin passes through a locker into a few years in the future. He sees his mother and Shiro have grown.
It has been 5 years since Yuri and Shiro's initial encounter. Shiro is still an Exwire, and Yuri is now a Page. Exorcists, Exwires, and Pages were brought together to bring down a highly dangerous tree demon.
Yuri is excited to see Shiro, but he brushes her off. However, he impresses all the Pages using incredible moves to destroy the tree demon.
A short time later when Shiro approaches Yuri, their encounter shows how Shiro and Yuri's view on destroying demons... differ.
