Episode 7: Flock of Plovers

Shiemi is determined to make friends. She asks Izumo and Paku to be her friend, and Izumo reluctantly agrees. Soon, it's apparent to everyone, except Shiemi, that Izumo is just using poor Shiemi.

Later, as part of the Esquire exam, the students are instructed to stay at the old dormitory where Rin and Yukio reside. A two-headed ghoul attacks Paku and Isumo in the girl's locker room. Shiemi runs in to find Paku hurt and begins to administer 1st aid. At the same time, Isumo begins to doubt herself causing her familiars to turn on her.

Rin runs into the locker room and quickly helps Isumo. He then turns his attention to the ghoul. Rin is pinned on the ground by his throat when he hears the ghoul say, "I only do as my master commands me to." Luckily Yukio and the others arrive and chase the ghoul off. Yukio congratulates Shiemi for helping Paku. Paku thanks her as well. Isumo, however, is ashamed of her performance and is unable to face anyone.

In the dark of night, on the rooftop, the ghoul returns to his master!
