After the fiasco that happened in the prior episode, the students learn that the ghoul attacks were all a part of the Esquire exam. However, Yukio begins to doubt Neuhaus' intentions especially since Rin had to use his demonic powers.

Later, when Neuhaus makes an attempt on Rin's life, Yukio must fight this exorcist himself. When Rin arrives to help, we learn why Neuhaus hates Satan so much!
