Episode 11: Demon of the Deep

Rin, Izumo, and Shima thought they could enjoy some free time when sent to the beach for a mission. Instead they find that the mission was to assist Instructor Tsubaki with his beach side stand.

When Izumo gets a cramp in the water, young Yohei comes to her aide. The Exwires learn the Yohei's father disappeared 6 months ago to what most people thought was a demon or giant sea monster (Kraken/Squid). Izumo and the others are asked to keep their eye on the boy.

One night the Kraken appears, and Rin must rescue the impulsive Yohei, who is attempting the to kill the squid with a harpoon. Yohei's father appears on the horizon...calling out to them. He explains the Kraken is not bad and that he had been lost for all those months. Yohei is delighted his father is alive and the two embrace.

Shortly after, Rin and the others leave the beach and head back to the academy.
