Seeing Rin suffer under torture that causes blood to spew from his mouth has outraged Yukio. He orders Ernst to stop! Ernst says it is too late, and the bomber carrying the messiah has already taken flight. To stop it would mean destruction for the whole school. Yukio offers his own blood in place of Rin's, but this awakens his own demonic powers.

Satan begins to communicate with his son. When Yukio asks why he killed their mother, Satan shows Yukio a flashback of the events that took place leading up to the boys' inception and their mother's death. Yukio is shocked to learn that it was his own grandfather who was responsible for her death!
