Episode 104: The Little Roommate

Highlights:

The Leaf Police Force and Team Konohamaru are chasing after Nezumi, a notorious jewel thief. After giving chase in the alleys, they come up empty handed except for four drunks. All of them are taken into custody for questioning. Afterwards a scared kitten approaches the group. Boruto and Sarada are unable to take the kitten home so they beg Mitsuki to take it home for the evening. He does, but he is clueless how to take care of it.

The next day, the police must release the four men for lack of evidence as the stolen jewel is not found in their possession.

Later, at the Thunder Burger, Boruto asks Mitsuki if he could care for the kitten a little bit longer. He, also, says that the kitten should be given a name. When Mitsuki says he's going to buy a burger to feed the kitten, Sarada explains that kittens do not eat regular food. Mitsuki visits a pet shop and with guidance, he purchases what is needed to care for the kitten. That evening, Mitsuki decides to name the kitten, Mikazuki (Oooo... I'm getting Gundam Iron Blooded Orphan vibes).

A few days later, the kitten becomes ill. Mitsuki runs to a pharmacy and then a hospital, where he is told to take Mikazuki to a vet. While the hospital receptionist explains directions to get to the veterinarian, Nezumi the jewel thief (who's been stalking the kitten since his release) takes the cat. Mitsuki, Boruto, and Sarada give chase. Just before Nezumi is about to cut open the kitten's stomach, Mitsuki stops him. Nezumi had the kitten swallow the jewel until he could retrieve it later.

Long story short, Mitsuki saves the kitten, the police take Nezumi to jail, the veterinarian removes the jewel, and shortly after, Mikazuki leaves with is mother. However, Mikazuki returns to visit Mitsuki that evening and many evenings to come.

NOTE: This episode was so cute and involved a good deal of character building for Mitsuki.
