Once A Medafighter, Part 2

Episode Summary

Picking up from last episode, during the robattle tournament, Ginkai has betrayed Kam by protecting Metabee's metal from destruction.  Kam is now having Redrun attack Unitrix.  Even with Unitrix in demolition mode, he is no match for Redrun.  The Mystery Medafighter and Roks show up just in time to prevent Unitrix' medal from destruction.  Thanks to them,  Redrun takes damage and... "function ceased!"  Before Kam leaves, he vows to get revenge!

Ginkai is upset over Unitrix' damage, and Ms. Nai offers to repair him.  Dr. Aki announces that both Ikki and Ginkai fought with spirit and declares them both winners of the tournament.  In a very generous gesture, Ikki says "Ginkai is the true winner"  and asks Dr. Aki to award both prizes to Ginkai.

After trying her best, Ms Nai must confess that Unitrix' electrical circuits were completely crushed, and he cannot be repaired.  Ginkai is devastated.

Later, as he sits by the river, Ginkai is approached by the Mystery Medafighter.  M.M.  asks how Ginkai became friends with such a ruthless person as Kam.  Seems that just before a tournament, Ginkai got in an argument with Bayonet and ended up burying the bot's medal.  That's when Kam appeared and offered Ginkai Desperado, a Kilobot who will obey orders.  He proceeded to tell Ginkai that true victory comes when you battle with no rules... You win by strength alone.  In other words, victory at all costs!  After all this time, Ginkai finally realized he was just being used.

Meanwhile, Redrun is repaired and tested on Exor.  Exor is completely destroyed.  Even his engineers are surprised that Kam shows no remorse at all.

Elsewhere,  Ms. Nai must give Ikki some bad news as well.  Due to the damage taken from the tournament, Metabee's memory seems to be gone. Unfortunately, it's unknown whether the situation is permanent.

In a nearby forest, Ginkai digs up Bayonet's medal.  Once at home, his little sister reminds him that Bayonet was given to their cousin.  Ginkai decides to put the medal in ArcDash, and lo and behold all of Boyonet's memories and personality come to life.  Ginkai now feels he is ready to take on Kam's recent challenge.

Redrun and ArcDash are having a fierce battle, and it doesn’t look good for ArcDash.  The Mystery meda-fighter joins the fray, but Ginkai wants to fight alone. Kam turns Redrun on Roks.   When Roks takes serious damage, the mystery meda-fighter reminds Ginkai that this isn't a robattle but a massacre .  Ginkai agrees to loan the M.M. TyrelBeetle so the two can work together.    Suddenly, Ginkai's meda-watch recommends combining ArcDash and TyrelBeetle.  With the power of the combined bots, Redrun is defeated.  Kam leaves threatening Ginkai, "I'll make sure you pay dearly for this."

"Thank you for lending me TyrelBeetle," the Mystery meda-fighter says to Ginkai.  "Keep him," Ginkai responds, "Bayonet (ArcDash) is my friend and all I need."

A short time later, Ginkai runs into Ikki and Metabee.  Learning of Metabee's amnesia,  Ginkai says he knows just what to do.  ArcDash knocks Metabee right on his head.  Suddenly,  Metabee has his memories return.  All he needed was a knock on that mechanical head!
