Fall From Grace - Part II

Episode Summary

In the previous episode, Ikki and Metabee were set up by Kam. Now their reputation is ruined, but Erika is not going to stand for it. She is going to prove Ikki is innocent!

Elsewhere, the dark ring is holding a battle for the strongest, and one Kilobot stands victorious. Who is this mysterious bot?

Later that day, Erika and Moira run into Zumi of the broadcast club. As it turns out, he recorded the live battle, and he agrees to help Erika prove Ikki's innocence in the spirit of journalistic brotherhood.

Ikki and Metabee are laying down by the river feeling very depressed. Ginkai approaches them. He, of all people, knows what it feels like to be scorned by others. He tells them to believe in themselves and continue to battle with honor. Ginkai passes it off as a message from Ms Nae, but Ikki knows that Ginkai feels the same.

Outside the Kilobot store, Rintaro and Minilora are happily carrying their new purchases. While discussing their new Kilobots and how strong they will be, Kam shows up. He suggests they use their new Kilobots in a robattle with Ikki and Metabee. They hesitate at first, but then jump at the chance. After all, now they have their all-powerful kilobots! It isn’t long before they see Ikki and present him with the challenge. Ikki is told to meet them at Riverview Stadium.

Later that day, Moira not only sees Ikki and Metabee arriving at the Stadium, but not far behind them, Susie and a gang of Kilobots. "Something's not right!" she says, and hurries to find Erika.

Back at school, Erika and Zumi have been scanning through the feed for hours looking for some hint that the broadcast was fake. Just when she is about to give up, Erika notices a time difference. "That's what is going to clear Ikki's name," she says happily. Suddenly, Moira bursts into the room informing them Ikki may be in trouble.

Erika, Moira, and Ms. Nae arrive at the Stadium to find Ikki and Metabee have been forced into a robattle with Rintaro, Minilora, and Susie with her numerous kilobots. Talk about an unfair fight! Of course, Kam is watching from the Stadium seats. Ms. Nae talks Eddie into helping them broadcast this unfairness. She believes Eddie should help Kam learn right from wrong.

In a live broadcast, Erika films what Ikki and Metabee are currently up against, and then reveals the truth about their previous battle. Ginkai directs everyone watching to go to the Stadium so they can cheer for Ikki and Metabee. At the Stadium, Metabee is about to be destroyed when Arc-Dash intervenes. The mysterious Kilobot, Blakbeetle arrives at the Stadium requesting a stop to all this. (A Kilobot that interacts.....? How interesting.) After all is said and done, Ikki and Metabee have regained their honor thanks to Erika and everyone that stood behind them!!
