** Medabots Season III** presented by AnimeAdmiresThe Truth About CharlieEpisode SummaryOn a beautiful sunny day, Ikki and Metabee are doing their usual arguing when a mysterious older man approaches them. He says his name is Charlie and asks if he can robattle them by the rules. Ikki agrees and is surprised to see the man battling with a Kilobot, Tricerapotts. Not only that, but he loses very easily. Very suspicious. Afterwards, Ikki and Metabee race to Ms. Nae's place where they see a sign indicating she is closing for a while. Ms. Nae explains to Ikki that she is doing an internship under a top researcher for the Summer. This makes Ikki very depressed. Ikki can't handle the thought of losing Ms Nae's friendship. The boy mopes around all day. No one can get him out of his depression. That afternoon, Zuru and Erika visit Ms. Nae to get the full story. She tells them about the internship, as well as, her dream to own a robotics company. She shows them a picture of the man she will be interning under and says his name is Charlie. Later that day, Zuru is visiting Ikki's home and trying to talk some sense into the depressed boy. Somehow the conversation fell upon Charlie. Ikki perked up right away thinking the internship for Ms. Nae is just to spy on her. He believes Charlie is working for the Kilobot Corporation! (Remember.... he robattled with a Kilobot.) Ikki is determined to find Ms. Nae and tell her what he knows. They arrive at Ms. Nae's in time to see her drive off. Ikki, Erika, and Zuru follow her. They find her at the Medabot Museum with Charlie. Ikki tackles Charlie and tells Ms. Nae that the man is an imposter. "This man works for the Kilobot Corporation!" he says. Imagine his surprise when Ms. Nae explains that Charlie is not only an esteemed researcher but also, the curator of the Medabot Museum. Charlie then tells the kids that he was using a Kilobot while conducting an experiment. "In order to beat your enemy, you must know them," he tells them. It was what he considers comparative research. Ikki is embarrassed to make such a mistake and runs off. Charlie finds him and asks to robattle once again. This time the man uses King Tank, which has a strong capacity for evasive maneuvers. It was close, but Charlie lost due to not fully charging Kind Tank's power source. The medabot ran out of steam. The battle helped Ikki understand why Ms. Nae wanted the internship, and understands that it is only temporary. Ikki returns to his usually happy-go-lucky self! Screen Shots
