Rough on a Hot Tin Cat

Episode Summary

On a sunny afternoon, Ikki learns that Samantha and Peppercat actually beat Minitora and Kintora in a robattle. Spyke slips and tells him that Samantha has been training with Ginkai.

Elsewhere, Kam gives Minitora and Kintora one more chance. Later that day they present a challenge to Samantha. They are to meet on Sunday at 9am at Mt. Nevermore. Zuru overhears their conversation.

Later that day, Ginkai and Arc Dash wait for Samantha and Peppercat at the park. Looks like Arc Dash may have a little crush on Peppercat. Ikki and Metabee show up. Arc Dash asks for Metabee's help so they can all train together.

The morning of the robattle, Samantha is furious to learn that Minitora and Kintora have brought additional friends to battle including Suzie, The Brat Brothers, and Masa. Not far off, Kam is tracking every move of this battle. As expected, Totalizer and Krosserdog are eliminated quickly. Completely outnumbered, Samantha and Peppercat head to the forest.

Back at the park, Ginkai and Ikki are wondering how things are going. Suddenly, Spyke and Sloan come running up to them yelling for help.

Returning to the forest, Samantha and Peppercat are surrounded. Luckily, Metabee and Arc Dash show up just in time. The Mystery Medafighter and Roks shows up as well. Seeing their competition, The Brat Brothers, Suzie, and Masa make excuses and run off. Peppercat says now they can fight their battle properly.

Peppercat's training has paid off, and she is getting the upper hand. Minitora and Kintora, however, have some dirty tricks up their sleeve. They make it look like she defeated Exor so she can let down her guard a little. Then while distracted by Unitrix, Exor springs out and gets her in a headlock. Peppercat is not done yet. He anger gives her strength, and she send Exor flying into Unitrix for the win!

Just as everyone in congratulating Peppercat, Blakbeetle shows up and takes her down. Kam instructs his bot to take down the others as well. Ikki and the Mystery Medafighter team up and fire their medaforce. However, the double dose of medaforce didn't do enough damage and now their reserve power has seriously dropped. Seeing that Metabee and Roks lack energy to fight him, Blakbeetle takes a shot at Peppercat causing her to "function cease." Ginkai and Arc Dash are furious. To everyone's surprise Arc Dash' anger sends him into the medaforce. Arc Dash's medaforce fury defeats Blakbeetle once and for all.

Ikki and the Mystery Medafighter agree that Arc Dash's medaforce had to come from his medal. Ginkai explains that Arc Dash's medal came to him before he even had a medabot. He was very young, and his father told him when his coloring book was full of pictures he would get him one. When his pictures flew away, the young Ginkai chased them into traffic, and was almost hit by a car. The man in the car apologized, and gave him the medal. Thinking to himself, the Mystery Medafighter (Zuru) knew that the man had to be his father!
