Dark Alliance, Part 2!

Episode Summary

Picking up from last episode, Ikki has been challenged by the Mystery Meda-fighter and Exor. Unfortunately, Ginkai and Unitrix join the fray and Metabee is easily defeated. Hey! Two against one is unfair!

Ikki brings Metabee to Ms. Nae for repair. When she questions why he fought even after she had warned him, Ikki stated that it was a matter of honor. A little later Erika and Ikki are discussing the Mystery Meda-fighter using a Kilobot when it was he who resolved to destroy "all" Kilobots. Erika says she is going to start calling him the Mystery Rogue Meda-fighter. Suddenly, they see Roks standing alone by the river. Feeling sorry for the abandoned Medabot, Ikki and Metabee invite him to their home.

In the meantime, the Mystery Meda-fighter continues to destroy Kilobots. However, he is beginning to realize that the interaction between him and his bot is very impersonal and starts to miss Roks. Later, when Ginkai questions Kam about giving the M.M. (Mysterty Meda-fighter for short) Exor, Kam just says that he supports winners...not losers! (Wow! Kam is destined for a future in politics.)

That evening at Ikki's house, Roks watches as Ikki and Metabee argue over a video game. He looks at Ikki's mom and asks, "Do they always act like this?" Mrs. Tenryo just replies, "Sometimes friends must argue to work things out."

The next day, Ginkai takes on the Mystery Meda-fighter, but their battle is cut short when Ikki arrives and challenges the MM himself....using Roks.

"Why are you battling me?" the MM asks. Roks replies, "This isn't a robattle, Master, you and I are having a fight. Sometimes friends must argue to work things out." The Mystery Meda-fighter doesn't want to fight Roks and returns Exor's meda-watch given to him by Kam. Kam takes the watch himself in order to fight, and Ginkai joins him. Then Ikki transports Metabee. It's a battle with Roks and Metabee against Unitrix and Exor (basically Metabots against Kilobots).

After all is said and done, the good guys win. A battery drained Roks even managed to defeat Exor. Kam can't believe that Roks continued to fight even with his battery drained. "Medabots are more than mere machines," the Mystery Meda-fighter explains, "Medabots have something most Kilobots will never have.....THEIR SPIRIT!"

And it's a happy ending with even Erika getting a great story...."Rogue Meda-fighter saved by Friendship!"
