** Medabots Season III** presented by AnimeAdmiresA Date With DestinyEpisode SummaryDr. Aki is running tests on Sumilidon. During the last robattle it appeared as if the bot was able to summon the meda-force. To use the meda-force without a rare medal is very unusual. So far all tests prove inconclusive. Meanwhile it's Team Japan's day off, and Erika wants to use the time to interview Team Iceland. The team has been camping and training in a wooded area by the river. Erika learns that they traveled to Japan by raft so they could get in some additional practice during their venture. You see Team Iceland's medabots are aquatic. When Iceland's Heckla and Batona are asked who their leader is, they point out Belmont who has just managed to build a hot-springs. Erika discovers that Belmont is a born leader. He does everything needed to keep his team in tip-top shape. Belmont is doing laundry when suddenly the rocks give way from where he built the hot springs. Belmont dives for Orkamar toppling into the river and just missing the crushing blow of the falling rocks. Erika and Brass can't believe his charisma. That evening Erika approaches Belmont who is sitting on a large rock by the edge of the river admiring the stars. He invites her to a party he wants to hold for all of his friends when he gets home. Erika gets very excited, causing Belmont to gaze at the sparkle in her eyes. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Erika gets up to leave but loses her footing slipping towards the river. Belmont charges ahead of her and jumps in the river to block her fall. The next morning Erika is shocked to find out that Belmont suffered from a very high fever all night. Heckla and Batona thought he may have gotten sick from jumping in the cold river to save Orkamar, but Erika knew that wasn't the only time he jumped into the river and felt extremely guilty. Belmont tells her it's not her fault. When Belmont loses consciousness, Erika insists they rush him to the hospital. Later that day Erika desperately seeks out Victor in order to convince him to postpone the robattle, but Victor refuses stating, "A meda-fighter who can't take care of his health has lost before its begun." Erika leaves the hotel feeling helpless and responsible for what has happened. From the bushes Warbandit appears and asks to speak to Brass. Morning arrives and soon the robattle between Team Kenya and Team Iceland commences. Belmont gathers all the strength he has to put on a superb battle. Team Iceland won the coin toss which allowed them to use an aquatic environment. Team Iceland proceeds with their triangular formation and the first wave attack...then the second wave attack. Victor instructs Warbandit to evade. It's looking good for Iceland when Belmont calls for Tsunami followed by the "Arc pattern Alpha". The giant wave takes out 2 of Team Kenya's bots, but Warbandit is spared. Belmont then orders Orkamar to use his shock wave attack. When Victor orders Warbandit to Flash fade to the left, Orkamar is left unprotected. Warbandit attacks, and to everyone's shock Orkamar it taken out. Function cease.....Team Kenya wins. Belmont can stand no longer and passes out. Luckily Erika is there to catch him. She begs Victor not to take the medals, but it's as if he has no heart at all. What has caused him to be so cold and ruthless? Brass tells Metabee that Warbandit told her Victor feels guilty for taking the medals, and something bad is happening behind the scenes. Just then, it is announced that the Chairman of the World Robattle Cup wishes to speak. Oh NO! Could it be? The Chairman is none other than Seaslug of the Rubberobos. What a shocking conclusion (well, maybe not that shocking...hee, hee.)!!! Quotes I Just had to Mention "If I didn't know better, I'd swear I saw a bead of sweat on Victor's Chrome Dome." (Metabee)
