Highlights:
Jo searches down in the ravine where Leo and the Beast Liger had fallen. She sees the Liger, but is unable to find Leo. She fears he may have been swept downstream. While Jo continued to search for Leo, the Imperial Army arrived and confiscated the Liger.
Jo's search leads her to some abandoned ruins, where she sees a group of Jammingas huddling around something. To her horror, it is the unconscious body of Leo. Jo and her Raptoria chase the Jammingas away and retrieve Leo.
Leo regains consciousness a short time later. He recalls what happened and worries about his Liger. After showing Leo the ruins, pointing out the footprint of a huge Zoid, the two exit the deep ravine. Sally is overjoyed to see Leo and gives him a big hug, but Leo is hurt from his fall and drops to his knees in pain. Buzz and Lieutenant Diaz drive up just in time to have Sally demand that Leo get medical attention.
Once Leo is patched up, Lieutenant Diaz presents the group with Imperial Uniforms and informs them where the Liger has been taken. Unfortunately, The Repulic Army cannot assist as it may result in a war.
The group infiltrate the base, and after searching several buildings, they finally track down the Liger. With the help of Jo's distractions, Leo is able to make some quick repairs to the Liger, as well as, equip him with large weapons. This allows them to escape the Imperial Forces with Liger in hand.
