Thanks to Baan clearing a path through the blockade, Leo (with Sally) is able to return to the damaged bridge. In the water below, Buzz navigates his ship so both Leo and Baan can take refuge after leaping from the bridge. With them out of the way, the combined forces can attack the island.
Even with the massive attack, the Omega Rex is not harmed. The pendant's light has protected it, and the huge zoid is powering up it's charged particle cannon! Once fired, the weapon has caused innumerable mass destruction! Everything in it's path has been pulverized! Thankfully, Buzz's ship was spared, and Giller barely made it when the wing of his Sniptera was clipped. Unfortunately, the temporary camp and a good portion of the combined forces are gone or took heavy damage. Melville is shocked at the destruction she has caused.
In the aftermath, the Republic and the Empire are helping one another with the injured. Meanwhile, Sally becomes ill knowing that she must tell Leo and the others that the mastermind behind the Omega Rex's attack is her own father!
